Pregnancy After Loss

It may be difficult to find words for what you’re feeling right now.

Or maybe the words are there, but you can’t find anyone who is truly present for you. To listen, to try to understand.

Whether you’ve experienced one loss or many, are pregnant now, or are starting to think about becoming pregnant again, whatever feelings you’re experiencing are yours alone. They are valid, and they are okay.

You don’t owe anyone, including yourself, an explanation for your feelings.

You have permission to just be. And to treat yourself as you might treat a loved one, with the kindness and compassion you deserve.

There’s strength and comfort in a caring support system. If you feel that your support system is not providing you with what you need right now, there’s help out there. I’ve included information about a few great places to start below.

Connecting with a therapist who specializes in perinatal mental health, grief, and loss can help. If you’re in Georgia and would like to learn more about working with me, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
